Rather interestingly, when you google the formulation (something I'm starting to do - a post on that shortly!) the other product that comes up is the Urban Decay Comfort Matte Lipstick, meaning they share a lot of the same ingredients. Considering the Sexy Balms are a third of the price, it proves that you don't have to spend a fortune to get a great little product. The angled tip makes the balm easy to apply and way more precise than the likes of the Ciate Pretty Stixs (which I featured here,) but very similar in terms of result. I'm a fab of the spectrum of colour (which takes you from a delicate nude right through to bold reds) and the different finishes, but I'm not sure why there are only three of the bold shades available right now. Here's hoping they're adding more to the colour collection over the coming months, as I'm sure there are many women who would put their fear of lipstick aside to try one of these beauties instead. The only downside for me is the rather bland and uninspiring packaging, partnered with the fact the colours of the lids don't match the bullets at all! If you're shopping for one of these in store, make sure you swatch them rather than picking solely on the packaging - or you could be in for a surprise when you get home. But for a fiver, you can't go wrong.
The L'Oreal Sexy Balms are available in eight shades (three bold and five sheer) priced £4.99 each. They're currently on a 3 for 2 in Boots right now too here.
