If you're fan of the Urban Decay Naked or Naked Smoky palette then the Greige Eye Palette offers up a great alternative that's also handbag and travel friendly. Featuring two base shades, four greige shadows that look fab when buffed into the eye, a strong grey colour and shimmering brown, all the tones are completely wearable and complimentary. The soft touch pack and metallic trim, as well as the large mirror and magnetic close, make the £52.00 price tag marginally less painful - even if it is totally lustworthy. However, the Intense Pigment Eye Liner (£26.50) provides much better value thanks to the inclusion of three different shades. Formulated with pure pigment, without fillers or binders, the result is extremely powerful and perfect for lining the eye; you can buff the colour out from the lash line for a smokey finish, apply wet for a more intense result or even mix with a gel eyeliner for a more striking look. I love the inclusion of the rusty red (which is really on-trend for autumn,) as well as the jade green which will help eyes to pop.
It's great to see something a little different from Bobbi Brown (finally) that actually gets me excited about the brand again. Seeing as Bobbi herself is so passionate, vibrant and full of life, I'm not sure why the last few collections have been so bland. We all love a nude pink every so often, but when it's released time and time again it won't cause a stampede to the nearest counter. All hail the greige.
What do you think of the new Greige collection from Bobbi Brown that's hitting stores this September?
