The £15 Bathroom Storage Solution For All Those Mini Products & Sample Sizes

I don't know about you, but all those little beauty products I collect often end up floating aorund never to be discovered again. They feature in beauty boxes, come as magazine gifts, fall out of goodie bags and get thrown in whenever I make a department store purchase, but whenever I need something small to pop in my bag or take with me for a weekend it's as if they've all evaporated. I recently invested wisely in a glass container which now proudly sits on my bathroom shelf, collecting all the little bits and bobs I know I'll treasure when my next hand-luggage-only flight comes a knocking. Mini sizes, sachets and samples are actually incredibly handy (plus they encourage me to experiment,) so I wanted a way to keep them safe so I can utilise them properly... Which is where this £15.00 candle holder comes in incredibly handy!

I picked this up from H&M Home and it's one of the best bathroom purchases I've ever made. It's supposed to hold a big church candle or lots of little tealights, but it's the perfect size to drop all my minis into - while making a great statement bathroom decor piece. It's incredibly sturdy, holds so many products it's ridiculous, plus it looks fabulous next to a few candles while I'm taking a soak. I'm really tempted to get a couple more, having already bought a giant jar to store all those annoying tealights that float around my kitchen. Storage is one of the simple pleasures in life... At £14.99 it's really affordable too, while looking a little bit rustic and vintage. H&M Home does some fabulous bits and bobs that I've picked up over the last few months - I just wish they had more of a selection outside London!

How do you store your minis, samples and sachets?
Are you tempted to follow my lead and pick up a giant jar to store them all too?

This 'tealight holder' is available from H&M Home, priced £14.99.

  1. I use a Kate Spade makeup bag for all my travel sized bits. Meanwhile, that Balance Me serum is amazing for treating spots!

  4. I had the same problem. My samples used to be literally everywhere! I now use a Glossybox to store them, and stack them in my bathroom. It looks super cute too :)

  6. Ah it looks pretty too! Love it! I have a basket type thing which I keep mine in, so that I can have a good rumage around for a good sample. Knowing me, with something like this, I would want the products at the bottom haha! Excellent and beautiful too! :)

    1. Not really - sometimes you have to have a rummage or tip it out, but I put all the things I use more at the top!
