Including a shampoo, conditioner and 'Triple Rescue' spray to help protect hair from damage, this trio harnesses the mutiple benefits that Quinoa offers. The sulphate-free shampoo removes excess oil, dirt and impurities, whilst sugar cane and lemon peel extracts enhance shine for healthy-looking locks; it lathers well to leave hair detangled and smooth, before I've even opened up the conditioner! (A huge accomplishment on its own, knowing my extensions often get so tangled they need a hardworking treatment to set them free.) The rich and creamy conditioner also smells divine; it contains a blend of shea butter, jojoba and soybean oil to help soften hair and enhance shine, whilst nourishing vitamins simultaneously lock in moisture. The result is hair that looks and feels hydrated, healthy and full of bounce; smoothing and conditioning products often weigh hair down, but this just seems to provide a soft finish without doing so in the slightest.
This trio isn't just great for hair that's in need of a moisture hit or could do with a touch of shine though - all three products are perfectly suited to the summer months. Each formula contains powerful antioxidants to help shield hair from the sun's harmful UV rays that can cause colour to fade over time; if you've ever noticed your hair tone changing slightly after prolonged periods in the sun, then a spritz of the Triple Rescue spray will help prevent this. Although I've really enjoyed using the shampoo and conditioner, as the spray doesn't offer any instant benefit it's not one I reach for regularly - but if you're off on holiday it's a great product to pack to prevent damage while you're basking in the summer sun. I've no doubt it will come in handy during my two week trip to Florida this September! I'm a big fan of Paul Mitchell and this little range has reignited my adoration, providing a really pleasurable experience in my shower every morning. It leaves hair feeling and looking great, while protecting my colour too - what more could you ask for from a little grain of superfood?
