Scentered Therapy Balm: Taking A Moment Out To Rebalance Your Mind

The struggles, strains and challenges that face women (and men) every day place very unique and varied pressures on all of us; these daily balancing acts have unsurprisingly left stress levels at their peak. Time-poor women are juggling an ever-growing number of roles, so taking a moment to reset is ever more important. Scentered is a new brand that allows you to take a moment for yourself, reset your mood and transform the way you feel, 'breathing renewed positivity into a busy lifestyle'. Divided into five well-being categories, each with a combination of active ingredients specifically selected to target a variety of lifestyle concerns, the portfolio tackles lack of focus, fatigue, stress and more. The impracticality of other aromatherapy products on the market has left a massive gap to fill and Scentered do it perfectly; their non-greasy solid sticks can be applied direct to pulse points or simply inhaled for a moment of clarity - there's no messy, greasy, leaking bottles or the need to understand the quantities you should be working with, just a beautifully scented solid stick that holds the secret to a clear and happy mind.

Not only are each of the five products beautifully packaged, but they come in their own coordinating tin which doubles up brilliantly as a spare container for all your bits and bobs. The cardboard outers protect the solid stick while being light enough to pop in your back or take away with you too. It's such a simple idea, but so very effective. I've always been intrigued by the power of essential oils, but often I'm left feeling confused and overwhelmed not only by the products on offer, but by the degree of knowledge required to mix and use them. Scentered keeps it simple in the best possible way.

I've got the 'Focus' balm on my desk for moments of lethargy, the 'Sleep Well' on my bedside table to apply before I snooze, and the 'Stress Less' in my bag for when the London transport system just gets too much! 'Escape' provides a moment of exotic escapism thanks to the inclusion of Oud and Frankincense, while the Rose and Patchouli in 'Love' helps you to feel comforted and stable. I love the concept of this brand and have genuinely been getting use out of the product - especially when I just need five minutes out after a busy day.

The scent of the 'Focus' balm really does improve my concentration around the 4pm slump, while 'Stress Less' calms the mind and ensures I can take a step back. Although they don't work miracles, the simplicity and invigoration of the scent really helps in the moment. At £14.50 these are affordable ways to ensure you can have a few minutes out with a cup of tea and come back to the task at hand. As they're exclusively available via Space NK, you know the power gods of beauty approve too!

Are you intrigued by the concept of Scentered? Which fragrance would you opt for?

The Scentered Therapy Balms are available exclusively online via Space NK, priced £14.50 each. Check out the Scentered website for more info on the ingredients included.
