Compared to the ChapStick I remember, these are definitely smoother and more hydrating - they claim to provide up to eight hours hydration (which is a little overzealous and probably unrealistic!) thanks to nourishing ingredients including aloe vera, helping to soothe dry lip instantly. They provide a subtle hint of summer fruits (including strawberry, banana, berry and lemon) which is neither too sweet or too overwhelming, appealing to anyone and everyone whilst remaining 'grown up'. I do find carrying around a regular ChapStick to be a little bit unglamorous, but these inject a little fun while being perfectly acceptable to pop in a clutch bag. At £2.99 each, you really can't go wrong!
Are you a fan of ChapStick? Do any of the variants remind you of times gone by? Will you be picking one of these double-ended versions up this summer?
The Chapstick Mixstix double-ended balm is available from Tesco stores priced £2.99.
