Introducing Sabon: The Newest Indulgent Body Pampering Brand To Hit London

Discovering new brands is a big part of my daily life, but rarely does a concept leave me as excited and intrigued as Sabon. In the summer of 1997 two young visionaries began making soap in their home, guided by an ancient aboriginal recipe they had stumbled upon during their travels. After meticulously blending various local herbs and flowers into their magical mixture of fragrant oils, this mouthwatering soap was sliced into hearty chunks and given to loved ones. Today, with the same love and creativity, Sabon has expanded to include delightful and dreamy products for the body, the home and the soul. Available across the world in over 130 stores, finally this brand have landed in London's Covent Garden - the corner of the city that's fast becoming the beauty capital. Their store is a treasure trove of beautiful body scrubs, shower oils, creams, lotions, fragrances, candles, skin care and so much more; every product has clearly been developed with love to offer visitors something that appeals to our inner sense of homeliness, thanks to their apothecary-style bottles and hand-written labels.

If you're a big fan of beautifully packaged goodies, love floral scents, or simply want to find a perfect gift, then Sabon's store is well worth a visit. You can get to grips with all the products on offer and are actively encouraged to test the body scrubs, shower oils and hand creams so you can see (and smell) for yourself how beautiful they are. Often our shower products become incredibly functional, so I love how Sabon put the theatre back into any bathroom experience - but equally provide incredibly rich and luxurious body creams, lotions, butters and serums to continue that experience afterwards. Although some of the scents are too strong for me personally (their rich Israeli heritage definitely comes through!) I do adore the more delicate and sweeter scents that provide an incredibly comforting experience. I expect big things for this brand and can't wait for them to expand across the UK; I've no doubt you'll be seeing them on a high street near you soon.

What do you think of this new brand to hit the UK? Have you ever visited a Sabon store overseas?

The Sabon UK store is located on Covent Garden's Neal Street. Although they don't have a UK online presence yet, you can buy selected products via Amazon.

    1. The prices here are reasonable - so maybe they inflate them in Hong Kong?
