Thanks to its combination of moisturising, nourishing and beautifying active ingredients, Shine Lover’s balm texture hydrates lips all day long, leaving them softened and regenerated. Each bullet of colour contains hyaluronic acid (to attract water for intense long-lasting hydration,) rose bush oil (rich in essential fatty acids to nourishes, softens and soothe,) and a protective gel (traditionally used in lip balms,) to create a protective barrier against external aggressors while maintaining hydration at the heart of lips. They're incredibly lightweight (I honestly thought they were tinted lipbalms when I first applied them,) and really coat the lips in a nourishing formula that doesn't dry or leave your pout feeling overworked.
I adore the nude tone I'm wearing below (excuse the sleepy picture,) but the coral will be perfect for the summer months when I demand tropical tones but comforting textures. The red shade is also great for adding a bolder look when you're out during the day and don't want to worry about your lips becoming dry after a couple of applications. 'Shine Lover' offers a fantastic hybrid that ticks all my boxes and takes Lancome into a much younger makeup arena. I'm excited to see what they have up their sleeve next, but these are definitely a great place to start.
