NEW From Rimmel London: Rita Ora's 'Oh My Gloss' Lipgloss

I honestly think Rita Ora is the best spokesperson Rimmel have had in years: young, fun, edgy, current, accessible and most of all a clear lover of makeup. I never really understood the Kate Moss thing, as she's always makeup free (apart from a swipe of red lipstick when duty calls.) For me, Rita is the epitome of the Rimmel girl and I hope she'll be sticking around for some time - not only because the collaborative collections she produces are really rather awesome. This March a new gloss hits stores that has Rita's stamp all over it: 'Oh My Gloss' is inspired by the festival season and part of the forthcoming 'Colourfest' collection. Available in three wearable tones (red, browny-pink and a nude shade) the gloss isn't sticky or too tacky, making it more than appropriate for when the wind blows while you're stood in the middle of Glastonbury holding a pint.

The glosses themselves are sheer while still provide a decent amount of colour; they're comfortable and fun to use, as well as having a yummy sweet vanilla scent. The applicators are long and precise, providing just the right amount of gloss to coat lips and leave them looking fabulous; the foam ensures product glides across lips well to coat easily without needing a mirror. I love the slightly quirky packaging, although they don't fit snuggly in my lipgloss drawer (blogger drama,) and the fact they're very different to anything else Rimmel are currently offering right now. The whole gloss feels a lot more premium and not overtly obvious it's from such a budget brand, making this a handbag essential for even the makeup snobs among us! I just wish there were more colours available... Here's hoping for some shade extensions later in the year!

What do you think of these newest lipgloss launches from Rita Ora? Are you a fan of her as ambassador, or do you prefer the old school approach Mossy offers?

The 'Oh My Gloss' Lipgloss trio is available from March, priced £5.49 each.

  7. These look great! I'm glad they're not too sticky, I hate it when your hair gets all caught up in your lipgloss! Love the colours too but i think a coral colour would be nice for spring/summer.
