Although it doesn't feel like it's doing much while it's on skin, after it's removed it leaves my complexion feeling uplifted and my cheeks feeling plumper. It's the perfect little boost for when you don't have time for a full-on treatment, or simply hate the faff or feeling of traditional clay masks. The instructions say to remove with a tissue, but I find you do need warm water and a flannel to leave your skin clean and fresh. The transparent texture makes it perfect for applying when you know the postman is about to arrive (how many times have I opened the door in a robe and green face mask?) while a little blob is all you need to cover your entire face.
The delicious scent of ginger helps to uplift the senses and is perfect for this time of year too, making it a great pre-party treat when you've only left yourself 45 minutes to get ready. There's no dryness, irritating flaky bits or tightness on the skin - just a refreshed and bouncy complexion that you can easily apply makeup to afterwards. At £23.50 it's not the cheapest product, but it will last an age and won't turn your bathroom into a mudbath.
The Origins Ginzing Refreshing Face Mask is available online, in Boots and within department stores nationwide priced £23.50
