Finally, A Sweet Smelling Alternative: Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hairspray

There's nothing worse than fixing your style in place, only to choke on the revolting smell of hairspray that lingers on everything and sticks at the back of your throat. Hairspray may be practical and offer the staying power you need, but some of them have the most hideous scents that leave me running from the room to gasp for air. Totally new on my radar is Fudge Urban's sweet smelling alternative: Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hairspray. Mmmm. It literally does smell delicately of raspberry and vanilla, with just a tiny touch of that traditional 'hairspray' scent that we know and begrudgingly love - a tiny touch I can deal with, but a huge dollop I cannot.

The spray itself works well to hold curls and styles in place, without excessive crunchiness or unworkable hold; it's much better on pinned styles to help keep hairs in place, but it equally works well when delicately spritzed over curls and movement. At £4.99 for a giant 200ml can you can't go wrong, so this is definitely worth a cheeky purchase for the scent improvement alone! Do you hate the scent of hairspray as much as me? Would you swap your spray for a sweet smelling alternative?

The Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hairspray is available from Boots and Superdrug priced £4.99 for a 200ml can.

  1. Ooh this sounds really good, and the price is incredible too! I'm currently using the Anti Frizz hydrating oil by Kukui Oil, which smells nice, but doesn't last a long time (2 hours - tops). Can't wait to try it. xx

  5. I have only sniffed this in store, when I couldn't spray it well, but I did wonder if the scent lasted. May have to make a purchase of this, hairspray scent is just the worst!

  6. Oh wow this sounds so good :) I don't mind the smell of hairspray, although L'Oreal Elnett is the WORST smell in the world, it smells like baby sick :( I'll be going to find a bottle of this next time I venture into Superdrug :D
