Kitsch Creaseless Hair Ties: My New Hair Best Friend

As my hair grows out from a bobbed cut and annoyingly hits my shoulders, I find myself reaching more and more for hair ties just to hold strands away from my face. In the heat I scrape my locks off my shoulders and into a bun, even if they've started the day loose around my shoulders with the hope of looking bouncy and fabulous. However, nasty black bobbles and stringy old ties just don't cut it, especially when worn around the wrist; they can totally ruin the look of an outfit when all other elements are polished to perfection. Kitsch hair ties are my new hair best friend not only because they come in a multitude of colours and textures, but because they don't snag the hair at all. They leave no nasty hair bumps when you take out a ponytail, nor do they cause any wincing.

They're long enough to be used in a multitude of ways, as well as adding a huge amount of strength and power to a style - plus they're made to be worn around the wrist as an accessory! I love this little glittery collection, but there are so many more to choose from... Including bold designs, patterns and textures that would perfectly suit any festival goer this summer. However, it's the nude colours and glittery designs that take my fancy; they look so elegant around the wrist that I've taken to wearing them as a bracelet as much as a hair tie. They even have studded and leatherette bands to add an extra touch of rockstar to an outfit - I just can't get enough. What do you think of these innovative bands?

The 'naturally mini' hair tie collection is priced £8.99 and available online.

  1. I saw these in superdrug the other day and I almost caved and got them! But I know I would enjoy having some more pastel colours instead (although I really love the Gold one!)
