Brand Focus #23: Dr Organic

If you’re a fan of all-natural skincare, then you’re most likely aware of Dr Organic and their multi-award winning bioactive brand. Founded back in 2007, this British company harnesses the power and beautifying benefits of some of the very best natural ingredients available in order to create their results-driven products. So, whether utilising the soothing properties of organic aloe vera to calm sensitive skin, or the inherent moisturising benefits of organic manuka honey to quench dry skin’s thirst, Dr Organic draws upon a whole host of natural and organic ingredients - picked straight from Mother Nature’s back garden.

From the finest natural plant extracts, to the most potent of organic essential oils, Dr Organic has created a wealth of award-winning products. What’s more, there are absolutely no parabens, artificial fragrances or mineral oils to be found here. What you will find though, are high performance skincare and hair care products (along with some toothpastes and deodorants too) that are skin, animal and environmentally friendly. If you fancy getting into the organic groove, why not slather on some of the Dr’s Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Monoi Moisture Melt? Jam-packed full of hydrating mango butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil, this multipurpose oil (use it for hair, body or even massage) soothes and moisturises. With its coconut scent, it also momentarily transports you to a faraway tropical island!

Do battle with those blemishes by grabbing yourself one of their Organic Tea Tree Blemish Sticks. The tea tree’s antiseptic nature, combined with soothing aloe vera, makes light work of pesky pimples. For stubborn cellulite-y areas, why not treat your orange peel patches to a twice-daily dose of nutrient-packed and detoxifying Organic Royal Jelly Cellulite Cream? Are you already a seasoned Dr Organic shopper? Do you place a lot of importance on using natural products? Are there any Dr Organic products you’ve now been tempted to try?

You can check out Dr Organic's many ranges in your local Holland and Barrett store, or online.

  1. I love Dr Organic products, I used to use Liz Earle but finding their products more expensive for my budget I tried Dr O. The Rose Otto range is fantastic, particularly the facial serum (and fantastic value considering what some facial oils cost!) I also love their skin lotions. I use their lavender one every day as hand cream which is much cheaper than what I was using but better in my opinion. I recently bought the Olive Oil shampoo and conditioner and I will be sticking with that from now on as my hair is so soft and still has volume. I would urge people to try the range as it really is great value xx

  2. I've used their Pomegranate Soap Bar on my face (main cleanser) for many years. I do love the products I have tried, but I find some of their products a little too far out of my price range! x
