I love how @tarastreats has put a twist on the traditional smokey eye, giving it more structure and taking the colour out further from the lid. Blending your eyeliner into your shadow will create a powerful result and help to frame the face. Doesn't she look fab?
Although @sophiesbeautique keeps it classic, she mixes her smokey eye with a powerful lip - something we're always told to avoid, but something that clearly works when executed well. I love her deep berry lips and how they help to add a rock chick edge to her delicate smokey look.
If you want to create a statement eye, then @niks_gray shows us how with her three-colour smokey eye. She's added in a golden shimmer and a green-grey to catch the light, giving the look depth. Mascara is just as important when creating a smokey eye, so ensure you layer it on and make the most of the wand to style lashes.
Finally, @alexandraegray shows that smokey eyes don't have to be too powerful. Her nude smokey look is subtle and understated, yet still ensures her eyes are doing the talking. Blending a darker shade into the socket helps to bring the colour of her iris out, as well as making her look wide awake. A great daytime look too.
