Healthier Hair Drying: Aquis Microfibre Hair Towels

The biggest cause of hair damage isn't blowdryers, curling tongs or straighteners - it's towel-drying. Rubbing a rough towel against wet hair can not only cause excess frizz, it can also break hair and cause irreparable fundamental damage to the shaft. I hate towel-drying my hair, preferring to blot the excess moisture away and leave it to air dry for a little while before putting the electrical styling tools to work. With Aquis microfibre towels the problem is completely removed, thanks to their patented Aquitex microfibre technology. Hair is most delicate when wet because the cuticle is open, making it stretchy and prone to snapping and tangling; by towel-drying more efficiently you can minimise the use of heat appliances and exposure to heat, resulting in fewer split ends and heat damage. If you can make the towel drying process more efficient and less damaging too, you're on to a winner. Aquis microfibre towels can significantly reduce the need for blow-drying, whilst absorbing much more moisture from the hair than a regular towel.

Normally I spend at least ten minutes faffing with a traditional towel, but thanks to Aquis I've now got it down to a three minute routine - the microfibre material absorbs so much more of the moisture in half the time, leaving my hair nearly touch dry before I even need to turn on the dryer. Even better is that the towel disperses the moisture across the surface area to leave it only damp, not sodden and difficult to dry. Available in a traditional towel format, as well as a handy turban, Aquis has become part of my daily routine over the last couple of weeks: because it really does make a difference. I'm always short of time in the mornings, so those extra few minutes gained make getting ready even slicker. Even though it's not a product you'd necessarily think of investing in, these microfibre towels will do much for your barnet than an expensive frizz cream. Plus, those ten minutes extra in bed are absolutely priceless...

  2. This looks like one of those products I really want to try but don't really believe in - it's always hard when these miracle products come around that claim to change everything! When i have a bit more money I might indulge though.

  3. Hi Erin. It's not a 'miracle' product as such - it's just the qualities of the material! It really does work : )
