The formula itself is really quite thick, being delivered from a pump bottle which ensures minimum wastage - simple, but relatively revolutionary when it comes to foundation. When applied to the face with a brush the foundation glides over imperfections to create a uniformed result, but without covering up the skin's contours that makes us look like humans and not robots. The finish is very matt, almost powder-like, which may not be everybody's cup of tea but is actually my preference. Traditionally, ladies over a certain age are told to avoid matte or powdery finishes as they tend to sit in fine lines, accentuating the bits we want to hide. However, with the Skin Perfect Foundation Cream Dr Lewinns have managed to create something that does the opposite; if there ever was an airbrush in a bottle then this would be a strong contender. Even better is that the formula lasts all day without excess shine peeping through, working well with other makeup and not even needing a powder to finish. Even though it feels quite thick to the touch, on the skin it's almost feather light and extremely comfortable to wear all the day through. This is definitely being added to my repertoire of foundations, which is a hard task for any brand!
