That was before I discovered Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses range. The double ended wand has a transfer proof lip tint at one end, and a clear balm at the other. The lip tint looks like a felt tip pen and applies in that way too - think colouring in your lips with a pen like you're back in pre-school. 'Nothing But Nude' is my exact lip colour of choice, a lovely brown-based nude shade that gives me a hint of colour without being too obvious. It's exceptionally easy to build the colour too, perfect to go from the daytime with a slight tint, to night for a stronger and bolder look.
On the other end of the pen is a balm, a clear top coat in effect, which provides a lovely light finish. It isn’t sticky in any way and gives a lovely sheen to the lips, finishing off the look and helping to bring out the colour of the tint. The best thing about this for me? I just have to top up the balm every so often throughout the day to reinvigorate the colour. The tint really is long-lasting, meaning it doesn't need to be re-applied that often to keep colour looking fresh. Just what I need! A bargainous snip at £5.99, I think I need to invest in some more shades…
