British fashion brand Superdry have launched a new quartet of fragrances for women: Neon Purple, Neon Pink, Neon Orange and Neon Blue. I have to admit I've never worn an item of Superdry in my life, but I'm told they make some pretty cool jackets and very handy thermals. (Cool and hip thermals, mind.) I didn't even know that they sold fragrances until this delightfully bright floro pink box landed on my desk and was opened to reveal an equally floro pink glass bottle of scent. This Neon Pink fragrance is described as: “An oriental amber fragrance, with a rich and hypnotic blend of Bergamot, Pineapple, Galbanum, Water Fruits, Jasmine, Rose, Sandalwood, Vanilla and Musks that merge to create a wearable scent for the sophisticated modern woman. The on trend fluro pink, embossed bottle with sleek outer packaging combine to reflect the attention to detail synonymous with the Superdry brand.” I do love the packaging and the detail that's reflected in the glass design; the bottle top is also innovative and handy, fixed to the glass like a cigarette lighter. It feels sturdy and great quality, which is often not the case with fashion brands jumping on the fragrance bandwagon, and the design looks great on a bathroom shelf. The fragrance is suprisingly refreshing and wearable too - I'm not a huge floral or musky-scent wearer, but this definitely adds something new to my existing fragrance wardrobe. Now I just need one of those hip raincoats to go with it.
The new fragrances will be available from Boots and online priced £35.00
