Smudging with eXtreme'n easy

Dip dying, ombre and visible roots have been the hot trends of the last year, seen all over the streets of London and beyond. You can't brush past someone in Topshop without being faced with an unconventional dye job, but it's all got a bit 'samey'. The people at eXtreme'n easy have come up with a new technique called 'smudging' where you basically colour sections under the hair for a subtler, yet striking result. You can create this on any tone of hair, from bright blondes to dark brunettes, so you just have to find out the shade that suits you. Check out the video below which shows you how to create this quirky look in about 30mins. Would you dare to take it extreme?

  1. Sure this used to be called slicing! :) I love the soft effect from it, and it's pretty easy.
