The new Even Better foundation contains SPF15 and is an oil free formula, meaning it helps to protect the skin from further damage whilst sitting comfortably on the face. It's a 'powerful foundation developed to help combat hyper-pigmentation and deliver brighter skin, both immediately and over time.' The foundation includes treatment benefits to improve the appearance of skin and the coverage is full without being heavy - the formula isn't thick or gloopy, but just enough to cover imperfections well whilst smoothing the skin. It doesn't cake, you don't need a lot to get great coverage and leave you with a flawless base on which to build the rest of your makeup. It comes in over 30 shades too, meaning there's the perfect match for you out there. I'm quite pale so the shade for me is 'Alabaster', perfectly matched with a 'Porcelain' concealer.
The concealer comes in a little glass pot so you can apply with your finger, a brush or even a sponge. The formula is quite thick, providing great coverage to even the most stubborn of blemishes in a jiffy, but without being too gloopy or caking. It sits on dark circles well, not budging all day and highlighting areas to bring radiance to skin. Also containing Vitamin C, it feels refreshing to use and very comfortable on the eye area, even giving horrid blemishes the cold shoulder. The best way to apply this is to press the concealer into the skin and the roll your finger to either side, ensuring it's really placed into the skin rather than just on top. I've been using both these products for a few weeks now and I have to admit I've already started to notice a slight difference in pigmentation to my skin. If you're concerned or have issues with uneven skintone these products may make your life a little easier and a lot more radiant.
