The three lipsticks come in Metallic Coral, Electric Fuchsia and Prismatic Pink and all have a two-tone effect which is created using 'cosmic pearl technology'. No, that isn't something that comes from Jupiter. The blue undertone of the lipsticks create a unique look on lips, whilst helping to create the illusion of whiter teeth. Surprisingly sheer, the shades are all very wearable whilst giving a splash of colour and moisture to lips. They glide on effortlessly and leave lips kissable and pouty - just what you need for the red carpet.
L'Oreal aren't exactly known for their revolutionary nail polish colours, so it's nice to see them launch something a little bit different. Like the lipsticks, the nail polish shades have a multi-tonal colour and a splash of gold to give a stunning effect. Electric Blue, Chromatic Violet and Oceanic Blue offer a fantastic result in one stroke and provide depth of colour. The formula contains crystal acrylic so there's no need for a base or top coat, just a couple of strokes of the brush and the gel base sets beautifully. A shiny and solid finish is left on the nail that looks fabulous - I've had so many comments on my polish in the last 24hrs it's ridiculous. I can't wait to see what shades the celebs will be wearing on the red carpet towards the end of the month... I just hope that J.Lo doesn't copy my 'statement nail' look. If she does, you know you saw it here first.
Available from mid-May in all good retailers. Lipsticks priced £8.16 each and nail polishes £4.99.
Wow, it seems to me like L'Oreal are back in force! In the past years I didn't buy anything from them, I felt like they became too boring. Now it looks like I want everything they have!
