NEW: Batiste Dry Shampoo in Lace

Lacey knickers, lacey dresses, lacey stockings... Lace is all over the place at the moment, from catwalks to magazines and even on Royalty. Not one to turn up their nose at a trend, Batiste have gone ahead and launched another addition to their dry shampoo range and it's all about the intricacies that lace brings. A more sophisticated and elegant fragrance, this is definitely the 'grown up' version. It's subtler than a lot of the others, giving a floral musky hint of scent rather than making you smell like a Pina Colada. I love the cute design of the pack and how this will appeal to the more demure consumer, evidence that Batiste continue to reach out to more demographics and types of customer. We all need a bit of dry shampoo in our lives, so this offers something a little bit different.

Available from Boots and Superdrug from May priced £2.99

  1. lovely new addition, love anything lace but knew guessed away that it was going to be more floral than fruity which is not for me. the only thing which would make me buy this is if they did a set with lippie/eyeshadow, and some lace transfer tattoo chucked in. would give the batiste to friend and keep the lace for me. pina colada suits me just fine, original suits me just fine, but it's still a nice addition. go go go batiste, definitely unrivalled in the market of dry shampoos

  2. just bought this, it's amazing, I love these products! x

  3. I so heart Batiste dry shampoos!

I've only ever bought the ones with a hint of colour (dark brown). Are the other Batiste dry shampoos white powdered like the original or are they coloured/transparent?

I wasted so much money initially trying loads of different dry shampoo brands (eg. James Brown) and hate that white residue left, so it'd be great to know.

  4. All dry shampoos have white residue (unless they're coloured) as that's what removes the grease. You need to ensure you're using it right and running your fingers through your hair to get rid of the residue.
