Here Come The Girls...

Last night I was in Covent Garden having dinner and drinks with a friend. When we wandered down the street back to the tube, a beautiful sight greeted us... Big, butch guys in floro safety jackets decorating a ginormous tree with sparkly lights! Christmas has crept up on us and with only 7 weeks to go the shops are full of presents, wrapping paper and baubles galore. In my house there are two things that we look out for every year, knowing that the festive period is just around the corner - the Coke advert (holidays are comin!) and the Boots advert. This year the team at Boots have outdone themselves as 'The Girls' shine in a brand new festive commercial, hitting our telly screens this very evening. Here's a sneaky peek at what's in store. Trust me, it's the best yet!

Without giving too much away, The Girls take on a mission to create Christmas in every way, shape and form... in secret! There's present wrapping, 'mission impossible' style hiding of elves and snowstorms. Boots have said: "This year Boots want to celebrate the fact that women really make Christmas happen. Whether it’s the undercover shopping missions to find just the right gift, the marathon wrapping event, making the home all Christmassy or simply making themselves look gorgeous, women put the sparkle into the festive season for all of us." If you want to catch the advert before anyone else, it's premiering tonight at 8.15pm on ITV1 or during Beeny's Restoration Nightmares on Channel 4. Here come the girls...!
