The Blow Bar

Ever finished work on a Friday and wished someone was on hand to give your barnet a boost? Well some clever cloggs has turned this dream into a reality by opening up London's very first blow dry bar. Situated a stones throw from Angel tube station, the bar offers nothing but blow dries - if you're looking for a cut or colour you're in the wrong place. For £24 you can choose a style to suit you, anything from a volume boost to a slick up do, and it's done in around 30mins (including a wash.) There are five signature styles to choose from, or for a bespoke do you just have to let them know what you're trying to achieve.

The bar itself is quite small, but the decor and modernity of the place make you feel at home - it's more of an intimate affair than some of the big shot hairdressers. Everyone I met was exceptionally friendly, making every effort to make sure the customers got exactly what they were after. What's also pretty ace about this cute place is that upstairs there's a private area you can hire out for hen parties, birthdays or work events, meaning you can get dolled up while eating canapes and sipping champagne in private.

  1. This is honestly amazing. WHAT a brilliant idea! Almost worth moving to London for! Wonder if they're planning on opening up more around the country...

  2. Looks very nice!
I'm not sure it's actually London's 1st blow dry bar though - hasn't Hershesons Blow Dry Bar had chains around the city for a while now?

  3. This seems pretty good, the prices sound really decent too. Wish there was one in my town!

  4. loved the 3rd and 5th hairstyle

  5. My husband is lucky we don't have these anywhere near us because I would be going daily!

  6. Absolutely loving the idea of this, a good blow dry makes all the difference with my hair. Love the idea of being able to hire it out for a party or something as well :-)

  7. I think they do have them across the country and it's not a brand new concept, but definitely worth a pop by. If you google I'm sure you can find some more local!
