In a field of bluebells

Bluebells remind me of being a child. When we used to go shopping on a Saturday we had to drive through some woodland, which seasonally used to turn a beautiful shade of blue. We'd go picking bluebells before getting back in the car to continue our journey, flowers in hand, and the scent was always amazing. The new 'Wild Bluebell' collection from Jo Malone resonates with me for this very reason. "An imaginative scent, drenched in the delicate sweetness of sapphire blooms. And wild, because it's a pretty quirky take, inspired by a wickedly whimsical, contemporary fairytale starring Wild Bluebell herself. With persimmon, lily of the valley and eglantine, its lush transparency is decidedly naughty...but nice." The model lies in a field of bluebells, surrounded by bunny rabbits in an 'Alice in Wonderland' type image - something very different for the brand, but extremely striking.

I've had a sniff of the fragrance and it was as beautiful as expected - light, refreshing, naughty but nice. A fabulous scent that you could wear every day or keep for special occasions, whatever takes your fancy. Jo Malone have created a whole line out of the bluebell fragrance, including body cream, hand wash and this fabulous candle. What better way to welcome guests into your home, or settle down for a cold glass of wine in front of the telly, than with the scent of bluebells wafting through. You even get some Jo Malone branded matches included to pose with.
