I love when the weather starts improving so I can start experimenting with bright nail polishes. The last couple of years there's been a trend for pastels and this summer will be no different. Revlon, one of my fave brands for nail colour, have launched these new shades which fit into the trend perfectly and remind me of Sherbet Dib Dabs. There's a delicate yellow and a baby blue which are both hot colours for the season. The two shades are sheerer than the regular Revlon polishes, needing 2-3 coats for good coverage, but this is guaranteed to be something to do with the shade composition. They're also quite 'gritty' with the final result not being as smooth or shiny as normal, but the colours are hard-wearing and take a few days to chip. Because of the shades they're really hard to photograph, (you can see the light picks up on the sheerness,) but I love the colour result and will be matching my summer dresses to these for as long as the sun stays out to play.
