This seems to be quite a big year for lots of brands and OPI is no exception. They're celebrating their 30th birthday of painting nails in fabulous colours by taking a tour of their USA landscape. They're launching a collection of twelve shades this Autumn (or Fall if you're being all American) which have some typically genius names, including 'Are We There Yet?' and 'My Address is Hollywood'.
The collection is all very wearable, albeit not very revolutionary, and consists of corals and burnt pumpkin as well as murky greens and dark blues. What I do love about the collection is that they're embracing slightly brighter shades for a traditionally dark season - something that I've been doing for years when I can't quite let go of my Summer orange. The darker shades remind me a lot of the soon to be released 'Pirates' collection as they're very similar, channeling murky water and 'between' shade hues.
I'll be trying a few of the shades nearer to the launch date and giving my verdict, but right now I can tell you that the subtle effects and delicate shimmers make this a beautiful collection of shades to transfer you from one season to the next, without the kicking and screaming.
