A Lancome Christmas

I spotted these a while ago when I met the lovely peeps from Lancome and had my eye on them straight away; these polishes are gorge and perfect for the party season. The nail varnishes have been created with L'Wren Scott for the Lancome Christmas collection  - a grey/blue shade and a stunning deep red. The apply like a dream and come in cute little pots which make it extra easy to hold whilst painting. What I love though is the 'three dimensional' effect you get with the polishes; they're not just flat colours, but have effects and sparkles hidden away behind the colour. The blue/grey is possibly my most favourite shade of the year as it slightly changes depending on the light and angle you look at it. The red shade contains red sparkles that you can't see upon first glance, but as soon as you look closely you can see the shimmery sparkle behind the colour. Gorgeous.

  1. I'd never in my life purchase Lancôme again, but some of their stuff looks nice - I grant them that.. But animal testing just goes WAYYY too high on my list of things to avoid, so either way.. no matter how great it may be of a product - I won't get it :3

  2. I'm not sure what their policy is to be honest, but you'll find the majority of brands (even when they say they don't animal test) will test their product derivatives... it's very hard to avoid it completely as the ingredient manufacturers will test on animals, meaning the brand itself can get away with saying they don't. The law is about to change though.
