Blogger brand favourite, NARS, have launched a new collection of 'vintage' nail varnishes which are perfect for Autumn. They're brought back five popular shades from the 'shade graveyard' for a limited time and all their names are inspired by vintage telly shows and films. I'm not quite sure why they made this link, but liking vintage stuff and liking telly (anyone that follows me on twitter gets a running commentary of what I'm watching) this collection definitely grabbed my attention. There are five fab hues to choose from... (L-R)
Mash - an army green infused with gold.
King Kong - copper brown infused with gold.
Midnight Express - deep navy.
Zulu - forest green.
Full Metal Jacket - gunmetal grey.
I'd never tried a NARS polish before being sent a selection of the range... I've fallen in love with the Full Metal Jacket. The colours come out much darker than in the picture above, but they're still fab and perfect for injecting a bit of life into your outfit. I was a little disappointed with how easily the polish chipped, even with a topcoat, but the colour is so great I forgave it and just kept re-applying my tips! (Such a cheat.) These are available from Selfridges for £13 - but because they're bringing back old favourites I'm sure NARS addicts will hunt them down without a problem.
